Publisher and CEO Miller London of the Urban Network, LLC/Los Angeles announced today the newly formed privately held corporation – The Urban Network Group, Inc.

The Urban Network is primarily known as a premiere entertainment industry publication as well as an online portal, multi-media company that bridges the urban entertainment community – its lifestyle, the consumer, and the film, radio, retail and record industries. The company is growing so fast and adding so many new programs – Mr. London felt it necessary to restructure Urban Network in order to keep up with the expansion and the growth needs of the company.

Mr. London says: “There has been so much interest and support for the Urban Network that I wanted to be able to share our good fortune with our friends, family and supporters. There were many people that given the chance would have invested in companies like Motown, Johnson Publications, BET, Radio One and others—and we are offering that opportunity for individuals to be a part of the Urban Network.
“The Urban Network’s success and the continued BRANDING of the organization will not only come from the growth of the magazine (which has been serving the industry since 1988) but from our already successful website, our new e-magazine, our annual entertainment industry conferences, and the many alliances we are forming: alliances with companies like Viva Hollywood (Latino entertainment magazine and website), Artist Interactive (CD Rom interactive magazine), ABA (American Basketball Association), Live 365 (online Radio Stations of which we have 2 and growing), Urban Network Travel (Worldwide travel access), One Solution international Limited (European marketing and support development), Urban Network credit and debit cards, Media Guide (radio airplay reporting system), the Historical Black College & University Network, and MY Space.Com.”

After considering all the great opportunities, Miller London decided to do a private placement and offer shares of Urban Network Group to the general public at $1.00 per share. The intent is to better position the company to go public in 5 years or less.
