Benefit Show for the
Tawn Mastrey
Transplant Fund
Metal Knights the hard rock tribute band to the great British metal bands of the 80’s will be headlining the benefit show for the Tawn Mastrey Transplant Fund at Martini Blues in Huntington Beach, Ca on Saturday July 28th. In preparation for the show; Razor, Kurt, Eric, Henry and Carl have been rehearsing Wednesdays and Thursdays, for the past couple of months in the auditorium here at hothouse rehearsal studios.
But last night they had a dress rehearsal and it was a blast. All the production guys were here conjuring up their magic. It’s amazing to watch them work. Mitch from Mills Acoustics was here setting up the guitar and bass cabinets, Mills is supplying for the show. I got to meet Jeff the owner of Studio 949 in Irvine. Jeff is running the sound for the event. It was a real pleasure to meet John Borja, Installed Sound Sales Rep from Sennheiser. John was here setting up the wireless microphone system Sennheiser is supplying for the benefit. Those mics ARE astounding.
Once all the set up was completed the guest started showing up and around 9pm the Metal Knights took the stage and gave us an incredible show. It was flawless.
I recommend going to the show…it’s a great cause you’ll be supporting and the music will blow your lid.
All the Best
