Jr. Juggernaut
Signs to
Suburban Home Records

Here’s more excellent news coming from the Hothouse Rehearsal Community of Artist.

We are so excited for our close friends in
Jr. Juggernaut. They’ve just been signed to Suburban Home Records.

In his press release, Suburban Home Records owner Virgil Dickerson expressed his delight when he announced the news that Jr. Juggernaut was the latest band to join the Suburban Home family. “I proudly use the word family as Jr. Juggernaut has had close ties with many of our bands and it is just makes sense that their debut album will find its release on Suburban Home” he said.

Since the summer of 2003, Los Angeles based power trio Jr. Juggernaut has been reminding us, just how much, American guitar rock, sprinkled with three part harmonies, still touches us in real deep ways. A live show with Mike Williamson (guitar/vocals), Wal Rashidi (drums) and Kevin Keller (bass) is simply amazing. The band’s music which has been described as a blend of Husker Du, Dinosaur Jr., Crazy Horse, Uncle Tupelo and Tom Petty translates live superbly. Check their myspace for the next Jr. Juggernaut live performance.

The band's newest recording “Ghost Poison” has already garnered airplay on Indie 103.1 prior to its release. The 10-song collection, available March/April 2008, offers the full breadth of Jr. Juggernaut's repertoire, from full-throttle guitar assaults to somber melodies, and is the first official release to feature drummer Wal Rashidi and bassist Kevin Keller. Produced by Jr. Juggernaut, engineered by Maria Baglien (Johnny Hickman, The BellRays), and mixed by Sergio Chavez (Motorhead, Velvet Revolver), Ghost Poison showcases Jr. Juggernaut in its finest moment.

Please stop by their
myspace page, check out the songs. If you dig bands like Drag the River, Two Cow Garage, and Armchair Martian, you will dig what these guys do.

All the Best
