Today I was introduced by verbal description to an instrument that is apparently called a "Vibra-slap*." Anyone? Anyone? If you know what that is, shut up. If you don't, then indulge me please. If you heard this:
Vibraslap: a cowbell shaped instrument with loose nuts inside it, stuck to a curved metal rod with a ball on the end of it that you hit.
What would you picture?
Thanks, Noway (of the band "Tee You).
* Vibraslap -- An instrument of percussion used for sound effect. It is held in the hand or can be mounted. When the ball of the vibraslap is struck, it vibrates the metal teeth inside and makes a long rattling sound. Hothousestudios.com Music Glossary, 2008.
