Summer Tour Preview More Bang for Your Buck

Despite doomsday visions of the recession gutting the tour business, the summer season is thick with acts hoping to make it big in a weak economy. Many acts like Kid Rock and Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Nine Inch Nails & Jane's Addiction, and Bob Dylan's triple bill with Willie Nelson and John Mellencamp are fighting to keep ticket prices low.

Others including U2, Aerosmith and Coldplay are mixing up the set list and beefing up the spectacle to give fans more bang for their buck. Still others, Blink-182, Phish, No Doubt are hoping a highly anticipated reunion will beat the market.
