Crossed Keys
Invades Germany and Rocks the Stage
(L to R Greg, Jaimis, Bryan, Preston and Adam)

Every year, 18 unsigned bands from across the globe share the bill with internationally renowned bands at the Taubertal Open Air Festival in Rothenburg, Germany.
It's down to the final 18 bands that came out of 6,000 plus bands, from over 150 cities around the globe.
Crossed Keys, our favorite Heart Core Rock group from Los Angeles, is 1 of 3 bands from the United States that made it to the 18 finalists.
These super talented groups will be brought to Rothenburg to represent their cities and countries for the final Battle of the Bands. For 3 days, this past weekend (8-8-08 thru 8-10-08) Crossed Keys one of the world's best unsigned bands will share the stage with internationally renowned bands such as The Hives, Danko Jones, Anti Flag, The Futureheads, The Editors plus many more.
The Community of Artists from Hothouse Studios is tremendously excited for Jaimis, Preston, Bryan, Adam and Greg and I’m especially delighted for them. I know all the long hours of intense work they’ve put in.
As soon as I have more news I’ll keep you all updated. Until then read the review below from the festival.
Crossed Keys is a female fronted rock'n'roll band with more balls than most men we’ve seen. Did I mention they had a tinge of country too? This is rock, California style. This girl was blessed with a voice to match her stunning looks. A tight unit that looked super confident on stage. Solo riffs, strong bass playing and solid drumming topped with looks that complimented their songs ... simply great. Thanks for the songs Los Angeles, thanks for the show... thanks for the eye candy for the boys and girls ... 3 cheers for L.A. ... hip hip hurrah!
It appears Crossed Keys showed the German crowd that California rock is still the best.
Crossed Keys Wins
2008 Emergenza Music Festival
Crossed Keys our long time friends are the winners of the USA Western Region 2008 Emergenza Music Festival. The announcement was made on Saturday July 12, 2008 at the Key Club in Hollywood, Ca.
Jaimis, Preston, Bryan, Greg, and Adam are on their way to the International Final, in Germany at the Taubertal Open Air Festival, one of the top 5 European open air festivals, alongside major international acts and in front of 12,000 people. Bravo!
They had to win several events just to make it to the final and along the way to the final they were up against some really stellar groups. Congratulations from all of us here in the Hothouse Rehearsal Studio community. Well done guys!
Spring Cleaning is FUNNNNNNNNNN!!!
Tonight I’ve been cataloging all the recent video footage we’ve shot here at Hothouse studios. Earlier tonight I have two stacks of 8 tapes each full of raw footage I was uploading to the hard drives and preparing to begin editing and producing the marketing videos I upload to the internet (7 different sites that is) for the bands that use the Hothouse facility.
The New Music Monday live show we’re producing now is also videotaped, so lots of footage. It’s fun watching the shows as they upload. Well I thought I’d take a break from uploading and write down in the log.
Big thank yous to Downshove, Crossed Keys, Scentric, End of Innocence, Sayonara Tokyo, SureWill, Edward J of KJFJ and Stephany Rose for being part of the Hothouse Rehearsal Studio Community.
