Alex Lopez Drummer with Suicide Silence uses
Hothouse Rehearsal Studios as Home base.

Alex Lopez the drummer with Suicide Silence put out this instructional (drum lesson) video to show his fellow drummers hit by hit how to play the bands song “Wake Up” from Suicide Silence’s second album No Time to Bleed. This video shoot was commissioned by Modern Drummer Magazine and was shot in studio one here at Hothouse rehearsal studios.

Alex has been part of the community of musicians and artist that rehearse here at Hothouse studios since we opened back in October of 2003 and it is an honor that year after year Alex uses studio 1 (the auditorium) to shoot his “drum lesson” for Modern Drummer Magazine. Thank You Alex!!!

Alex has been in rehearsing so look for a new video soon.

Alex Lopez and Chris Garza of the band Suicide Silence
Are in the Hothouse

Long time friend of the hothouse Alex Lopez drummer in the band
Suicide Silence and his band mate guitarist Chris Garza were in the auditorium last night video taping some very cool promo spots for their record label Century Media. They shot video of the two of them jamming out, showing us how to play their songs, a candid interview with Alex and Chris and much, much more. Wink Wink. The whole studio was locked out so we had a great time. Good friend of Alex’s and the hothouse Carlos from Antagonist came by and hung out too. Look for some big news out of their camp soon.

Why are signed bands using
Hothouse Rehearsal? Here’s what they’re telling us. “The equipment always works”. “Has the cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever seen in a rehearsal studio”. “The staff is super attentive.” “Best sounding and maintained rehearsal rooms.” But mostly they say it’s because the “Hothouse cares about the artist and their rehearsal”. Why not come into the hothouse and find out for yourself.
